On the morning of September 3, a grand ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was held in Tiananmen Square, Beijing. At the invitation of the government, Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, President of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs and Senior Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group, ascended the Tiananmen Rostrum to observe the ceremony with Chinese leaders and distinguished guests from various countries. Mr. Soopakij Chearavanont, Executive Vice President of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs and Chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group; Ms. Cheng Cheung Ling, President of CP Pharmaceutical Group; and Ms Theresa Tse, Chairwoman of the Board, and Mr. Eric Tse, Chief Executive Officer of Sino Biopharm (1177.HK), were also in the VIP viewing stands at Tiananmen, witnessing the nation's strength and glory.

This was the third time Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont had been invited to observe a ceremony from the Tiananmen Rostrum. As early as 2015 and 2019, Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont had the honor of attending the ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, as well as the ceremony celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and watching the grand military parades from the Tiananmen Rostrum. As the parade concluded, everyone was filled with passion.
